    I was gifted this beautiful notebook and have been using it to record my grandmothers story because I want it to stand the test of time. I absolutely love it and know it will be a notebook I’ll have as a keepsake forever

    I’ve gone through a lot of notebooks trying to find one worth sticking with, and this is the first one that made me stop shopping around. The paper is the thing that got me – it’s got just enough tooth that ink doesn’t skate around, but it never feels rough under a pen. I write most nights before bed and the fact that it lies flat, even on the first page, sounds like a small detail until you’ve spent years fighting a spine that won’t cooperate.

    I went with Bark, and it’s got some depth to the colour rather than sitting flat. The debossing on the cover is subtle, which I liked. No prompts, no trackers, nothing telling me how to feel about my own day – just space, which is honestly what I wanted after being burned by journals that felt more like worksheets.

    Amazing quality! I was looking for a journal that felt really well-made, and I’m so glad I came across this one from be.still.

    It’s so easy and comfortable to write in, and the pages lay beautifully flat. At first, I wasn’t sure about the price, but now I completely understand what I’m paying for – the quality is definitely there!

    Another big plus is that it’s Melbourne made ❤️

    Beautifully made and a joy to write in. The paper feels fantastic, the journal lies flat, and the simple design gives you plenty of space without unnecessary prompts or distractions. Everything about it feels thoughtful and well considered, from the quality of the materials to the understated design.

    Arrived beautifully packaged, and the journal itself is even better. I went for Slate, which is such a lovely, understated colour. I’ve gone through so many notebooks over the years, but this is the first one I can actually imagine finishing.
